Introducing The Dignity Clinic: Our Newest Project to Bring Hope and Healing to Liberia

Picture
Everyone has that one place where they feel safe and loved.

A place where hope, happiness and healing lives.

In 2025, Dignity:Liberia’s Maternity waiting home, Hope House (previously House of Hope and Dignity), began welcoming expectant mothers where they receive prenatal care. The goal is to prevent Obstetric Fistula at its source.

We are now beginning Phase II of our building project. The construction of a dedicated fistula clinic where women can have fistula repair surgery performed or a C-section if necessary.

Obstetric fistula is a preventable childbirth injury. Our goal is to prevent fistula in Liberia. At our clinic the heart of healing will beat loud and strong.

Our DEI Statement:

Since its inception, Dignity: Liberia has worked to restore the dignity of women with fistula, regardless of nationality, tribe, language, religion, age, marital status, education, or economic background. We value each individual as a child of God and also apply this principle to our supporters, volunteers, and other collaborators who come from a number of different countries and political backgrounds. We value and treat others as we would want to be treated ourselves. We believe that everyone deserves acceptance, love, and dignity.
