The Dignity:Liberia Board met in Estes Park, CO on July 20, 2019. Entire expenses for travel, room and board were borne by the individual board members attending. No money was used from the gifted Dignity:Liberia charity donations. The board members who attended were:
We enjoyed the amazing hospitality and planning of lodging and gourmet food (we ate a lot) by Becky Mueller Huner and her husband David. The view of Longs Peak, the food, and the team building hikes and activities were very much reenergizing.
The board reported on the March 2019 mission trip, including the highly successful lessons on making hygiene kits (see Becky’s Journal), a collaborative effort with Peace Corps volunteers distributing Meluna Cups, and an overnight stay at a village (stay tuned for that story). We discussed upcoming mission trips, received a grant application update, and reviewed plans for House of Hope and Dignity, our future maternity waiting home.
